craciun_ioanCapt(N) Ioan CRACIUN hails from Iasi, ROMANIA and he was inducted into Romanian Navy in August of 1986, after Naval Academy “Mircea cel Bătrân” graduation. He attended the Command & Staff College in 1996 and completed the Ph.D. program in 2003. He has started his academic carrier in 1997 by teaching ASW and naval strategies at Romanian National Defense University “Carol I”.
In 2007, Capt(N) Ioan CRACIUN attended an International Relations M.A. and started developing a keen interest in conflict prevention/management/resolution while teaching crisis management at Romanian NDU “Carol I”, NATO School, Oberammergau, Germany or George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Simultaneously, he completed his education in the field of international security, conflict management and development by attending different academic programs like “Security, Stability, Transition and Reconstruction Program” and “Program in Advanced Security Studies” at George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany and Comprehensive Approach, Strategic and Operational Planning Programs at NATO School, Oberammergau, Germany.
